Government Inspectorate "touches" the urban area project of nearly VND 10,000 billion in Hai Phong
The Government Inspectorate was assigned to inspect citizens' complaints and denunciations related to land acquisition to implement the project of constructing the technical infrastructure of Northern Cam River New Urban Area, Hai Phong City.
The Government Office has just issued a document conveying the direction of the Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh on the settlement of complaints of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thom, Hai Phong City.
Previously, the Central Inspection Committee sent a letter to the Government Office to transfer the application of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom and some citizens in Ben Binh B residential area, Tan Duong commune, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong district. complaints and denunciations on a number of contents related to land acquisition for implementation of the investment project on construction of technical infrastructure of the Northern Cam River new urban area, in Tan Duong commune, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city.
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Government Inspector to check and review the contents of complaints and denunciations of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom and some citizens; report to the Prime Minister in 5/2019.
The project of constructing the technical infrastructure of Northern Song Cam New Urban Area was approved by the Prime Minister with the investment policy in Decision No. 1131 / QD-TTg, dated June 24, 2016, to create a breakthrough in Hai Phong urban development.
Accordingly, the project is invested including: Hoang Van Thu bridge, Cam river dyke and embankment, the main transport system and technical infrastructure system to serve the entire area of the North Cam River with a scale of more than 1,445 ha. The total investment of the whole project is VND 9,899 billion from the city budget and other legal support sources.
The project is invested by Haiphong Urban Development Construction Management Board. Project implementation time is 24 months.
According to the planning of 1 / 2,000, Northern Cam River New Urban Area will have an area of 324 hectares in 2025 and a population of about 17,500. The study area is mainly located in the north of Cam River and a part of the south of Cam River in Hoa Dong, Tan Duong and Duong Quan communes (Thuy Nguyen district); Minh Khai ward (Hong Bang district) and May To ward (Ngo Quyen district).
The project of construction of technical infrastructure projects with an investment of VND 4,700 billion, is planned to include 4 main functional areas along the North-South axis and 3 auxiliary functional areas. In which, 4 main functional areas include: administrative - political area, multi-function area, commercial area and water surface area. 3 auxiliary functional areas include: cultural center, high-rise housing area combined with multi-purpose area and commercial area. The overall spatial layout will be gradually reduced to the administrative-political center; organizing two main space axes in the direction of North-South and East-West.
